About Us
First Steps Family Resource Centre is a non-profit organization in Labrador City, NL.
It is our mission to support families in the healthy development of children through play, programming, education and networking.
We will strive to nurture children ages prenatal to 6 years and their families as they grow.
We will provide the positive "first steps" to build a foundation for families and children as a means to enhance our communities.
Meet Our Staff
Lynette
Coordinator

Lynette is very active in the community, she pours her heart into several organizations around town As a mom, she was a regular at First Steps. She runs the day to day operations of the centre. She enjoys planning fun activities and bringing new experiences to the First Steps families.
Courtney
Program Facilitator

Courtney has been involved with First Steps since 2016, and starting working with us in May 2022. Courtney has a passion for working with young children and loves planning educational activities. She is a mom of 2, and has a love for helping others.
Sarah
Program Facilitator
Sarah brings lots of fun and excitiment to First Steps. She is very crafty and loves to bring a smile to everyones face by planning fun new activities for families to enjoy.
Jennifer
HBC Coordiantor

Jennifer has been with First Steps since 2013! She runs our Healthy Baby Club and is a Child-Birth Educator and Doula! Jennifer has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to pre and postnatal information!
